“I found an old photo of us together. We are cleaning a local river in our hometown of Hafnarfjordur, it’s taken circa 1990. Stefan is in the middle, I’m on the far right.” 

“The picture was first published in a local newspaper back in 1990. Then I found the paper at my parents house some years back and shared it on Facebook with Stefan and the other people in the photo.Then the picture was published again last year in the local paper in Hafnarfjordur. Two in the photograph (the first photograph in my original post) are well known here in Iceland, Stefan of course, and then the other guy with the glasses, he’s a known TV personality here.” Ivarth

Made a compilation of all the scenes Stebbi was in his first play of “Hrói Höttur”  AKA “Robin Hood” in 1990 He played the role of one of the guards (one in the last row)

Translated description: “Hafnarfjörður Youth League recording from an exhibition in Hveragerði, June 4, 1990, at the 40th anniversary of the Alliance of Icelandic Playmates The exhibition was originally shown in the town of Bæjarbíói in Hafnarfjordur in the spring of 1990.″

From an interview with Stefán referring to the play:  “Luckily, there was a thriving community theatre in town, “where everyone from bankers to taxi drivers would come together to put on plays. I did my first one when I was 13. We all wrote it ourselves and called it “You’re At the Top of the World, You Idiot!” It was the story of a young man, from being a sperm to graduating from school. Kind of a Woody Allen sort of show.”
