“Enter the guest of honour! Actor Stefán Karl Stefánsson is famous worldwide for his role as Robbie Rotten in the children’s series LazyTown, a show that promotes children’s understanding of the importance and benefits of a healthy lifestyle. It looks like Robbie Rotten got the better of Stefán Karl this time and is trying to steal the Torch!”
“Stefán Karl and Dagur lead the kids and the Peace Runners on one last victory lap for the Peace Run in Iceland this year”
“Stefán Karl and Dagur are obviously very relaxed and happy to be around kids. These two children, who had never met either of them before, spontaneously came and sat on their lap”
“The Peace Run ceremonies are evidently entertaining…”
“…and moving”
“Stefán Karl gave a very moving speech. As a child he was bullied and it wasn’t until he started speaking about it to the other children that they realized how much they were hurting him. As an adult, he founded Rainbow Children, a foundation that promotes anti-bulllying and children’s understanding of harmony, tolerance and understanding in the community”
“This award inspires me,” Stefán Karl said. We were very inspired to meet him and honoured to be able to present to him the Torch Bearer Award for his work to create a better, more harmonious and more peaceful society”
“We had a moment of silence for peace in the world. These pictures show Stefán Karl and the kids feeling peace deep in their hearts”

“Available for a moment” with the cancer - Stefán chatting with Svali og Svavar 14.08.2017 (full interview)
Stefán Karl Stefánsson actor visited K100 this morning.
“Stefán Karl Stefánsson’s actor is no longer diagnosed with cancer after struggling for some time. He had been diagnosed with a tumor in last year and treated well. Earlier this year, however, he had a liver disease after the cancer had been cut off and the condition was not bright.
Stefán’s recovery, on the other hand, has been more bright hope and today there is no cancer in the body.
Stefán came to chat on K100 this morning discussing the fight with cancer, a performance show he will be in the near future and a stand up show.
Stefán says that, among other things, he has been responding to foreign media for recovery all the time, and although he is not diagnosed with cancer today, he expects to be back in meteorology later this year. “I’m available for a while,” says Stefán, adding that there is something to celebrate and now he finds the energy acting again about the body.”
Stefán Karl in “Independent People”
On April 1, 2012
The original episode was broadcasted back in 2012 but has re-broadcasted recently on August of 2018, here’s an uploading of the full episode taken from Visir.
It is safe to say that Stefán Karl Stefánsson is an actor that has touched the hearts of the nation in recent years. Stefán Karl passed away on Monday, while the 43-year-old had fought with bile duct cancer for two years.
Stefán Karl Stefánsson was probably the only Icelandic actor who most of the world’s people knew in sight and still recognized. Millions of people across the globe grew up shouting at him through the television screen, so right to let him know that it was about the latest mystery of Robbie Rotten.
Stefán played in numerous Icelandic works and fascinated the nation with his personality over the past two decades.
On April 1, 2012, Stefán Karl was invited to the episode “Sjálfstætt fólk á Stöð 2”, where Jon Ársæll Þórðarson talked to Stefán about life and drama.
Together they went to a visit to the Lazytown headquarters, a visit to the mother of Stefán and interacted with Hafnarfjörður harbor.
Stefán discussed the time in Lazytown and when he landed a big role as the grinch in the musical about how this protagonist The Grinch stole Christmas in a musical that was set up in Los Angeles.
Stefán was bullied during childhood and opened up to Jón Ársæl. Stebbi was a learned pilot and a great deal for aircraft. The bullying formed Stefán Karl and thought he could reduce bullying in society.
“I really like people who find out,” said Stefán, in conversation with Jon, who describes the man Stefán Karl was.
Roughly translated from an article that posted about the re-broadcasting.
“We actually got hammered together at a reunion just over 10 years ago, a couple of us went barhopping and such after the reunion, that was a fun night. I also found a pic from that night.” quote taken from Reddit user Ivarth
Ivarth photo with Stefán at the reunion is the one last and I had other photos from there as well so added them in.
This is other photo he was referring to as well.
“I found an old photo of us together. We are cleaning a local river in our hometown of Hafnarfjordur, it’s taken circa 1990. Stefan is in the middle, I’m on the far right.”
“The picture was first published in a local newspaper back in 1990. Then I found the paper at my parents house some years back and shared it on Facebook with Stefan and the other people in the photo. Then the picture was published again last year in the local paper in Hafnarfjordur. Two in the photograph (the first photograph in my original post) are well known here in Iceland, Stefan of course, and then the other guy with the glasses, he’s a known TV personality here.” Ivarth
“Stefán chat from late 2008″
I’m mainly making a post about this here so I can archive it and well share it with others since it’s interesting , grabbed it from here LazytownRpg originally it was on the Lazytown LiveJournal Group.
“After the whole issue in the summer of 2008 where we feared Stefan wouldn’t be returning to the role of Robbie Rotten, one of the moderators for the Lazy Town LiveJournal group made contact with him and his wife to arrange an IRC chat with him to answer questions concerning his role, career, and future plans.
I just found that I had made a copy of it and thought everyone here would like to read it. (I apologise for my own lame question, because all the ones I would have asked had been.)”

Stefán Karl at Spretta
Spretta ehf. was founded in 2015 by the pop-up company Pop People, owned by Soffía Steingrímsdóttur, who runs a smart farm where breeding is cultivated. Stefán Karl Stefánsson, actor, is the managing director of the company and supervises cultivation and installation.
Microgreens are the first leaves and stems of herbs and vegetable plants. Microgreens are usually 7-14 days old and 3-8 centimeters tall. No fertilizer is used in the production, either in liquid or in the mold. Bordered foods are calorie-free foods that contain a lot of essential nutrients and therefore the ideal addition to daily food.
Microgreens can be grown in a wide range. Virtually all vegetables and herbs can be brewed, such as green peas, radishes, beetroot, celery, salads, herbs and so on. Microgreens make the food look beautiful, stiff and tasteful and they can be enjoyed in many ways. They are sneaky with nutrients, many of which contain 4-6 times higher amounts of vitamins and antioxidants than full-grown plants. Antioxidants help to prevent cellular damage.
